By using BillOfSale.app (“the service”) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
BillOfSale.app generates bill-of-sale PDF documents for private vehicle and property sales across the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Free users receive watermarked PDFs. Paid users receive watermark-free PDFs.
Not legal advice
BillOfSale.app is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The PDFs and information we provide are for general informational purposes only. State and provincial laws change. Specific transactions may require additional forms, notarization, or witnessing that our templates do not address. We strongly recommend consulting a qualified attorney or your state/provincial DMV before relying on any document generated here for an important transaction.
Accounts
Accounts are free. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us at support@billofsale.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. By purchasing you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method for the amount shown. Monthly Pro is a recurring subscription that renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal at /billing.
Single Download: one clean PDF, 24-hour re-download window.
Day Pass: unlimited clean PDFs for 24 hours from purchase.
Monthly Pro: unlimited clean PDFs, renewed monthly.
Lifetime: unlimited clean PDFs, one-time payment.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Generate documents containing false or fraudulent information
- Use the service to impersonate another person
- Abuse our rate limits or attempt to circumvent access controls
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service
- Use the service to violate any law or regulation
Intellectual property
The site, software, and template designs are owned by BillOfSale.app. You retain ownership of the content you enter into the forms. Paid PDFs are yours to use without restriction for personal and commercial vehicle/property sale purposes.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that the PDFs will be accepted by any specific DMV, court, or third party — though we design templates to meet publicly available state and provincial requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillOfSale.app's liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BillOfSale.app operates.
